Hot Pursuit. Vergara and Reese Witherspoon played their roles very well. I can say that I liked the movie.

Just watched an independent thriller last night called Creep. It stars Mark Duplass from The League, if anyone has seen it, and I think he really does a great job for such a unique role in a rather unique movie. Unfortunately there are some jump-scares (my absolute biggest pet peeve in film) but they make a small effort to tie them into the story in a way that is kind of like breaking the 4th wall but not really...? I don't know. Patrick Brice wrote, directed, and co-starred with Mark in this film and he did a pretty solid job as well, not to say the acting didn't leave anything to be desired. They also set up a lot of potential plot points early in the movie and a few more about half-way through but never really follow through with like... any of them. Which is kinda disappointing. I won't comment on the ending, but this thriller from March of last year really seemed to slip through the cracks, so watch it if you get the chance. I'd love to hear some other opinions on it.

The Day-watched it for Shawn Ashmore...for the most part it was a pretty good movie. It took a while to get interesting but overall...it was better than i thought it was going to be. Recommended!
Insidious: Chapter 2-probably my favorite of the three movies...i've seen it before of course. I like how it continues from the first movie and adds more information..great acting, not scary at all in my opinion but a few jumpy parts! Love Specs and Tucker they are my faves! Highly recommended... __________________

Flowers in the Attic circa 1987. Beautifully shot thriller about the incredibly complex and strained relationship between a wife who has just lost her husband to a tragic accident, her insanely authoritarian, conservative and elderly parents, and her four children. The movie starts slow but really builds into some interesting scenarios and ends up pulling your heart-strings more than a few times. For the overly emotional this film is sure to be a tear-jerker, but with plenty of suspense to keep all the thriller fans on the edge of their seats. Give it a look if you have the time.
