This trailer was a little better than the last one (and glad they showed Venom this time) but something is still off to me about this movie, still not feeling it much. I still think it's a huge and stupid mistake if Spiderman isn't in it or connected to it at all. I hope it's in the MCU.

i must confess that i don't understand why there is a Venom movie, without Spiderman. did i miss something?!

^^ Well it's a spin off of Spider-Man obviously, but its like focused on his personal story.
I get the confusion but it's just a different perspective really.  Set for an October 5th release! |

Eddie Brock in the comics, was a jealous psychopath who worked at the newspaper alongside Peter Parker, and could never match the photos that photographer Parker always seemed to have in droves, but Eddie was pretty much a talentless hack with the camera and hated Peter. Peter had just finally had enough of the black hole of negativity that the symbiotic sentient blacksuit constantly put him in, and threw the suit out the window, getting rid of it. the suit fed on hatred, fear, jealousy, all manner of negative emotions, and so the suit slunk away in an alley, and came across a drunken, hateful Eddie Brock staggering out of a bar, and presto! Venom!
the suit later was temporarily blown in pieces during a Spidey/Venom battle, and before the suit reanimated itself and became part of Brock again, a small piece survived on it's own, and found a truly evil demonic murderous serial killer named Kletus Kassidy, in his prison cell at a nearby penitentiary. presto! Carnage! Venom and Carnage are the yang to Spidey's yin. Joker to the Bats. i shall await public opinion and reviews. __________________
