You should definitely watch The Dark Knight Trilogy, they make up for Batman and Robin.

Speak of which... I know Joel Schumacher makes extravagant movies but I still love him and (some) of his movies.

I enjoy watching Batman and Robin for Arnold's performance as Freeze.

Even though Michael Haneke's films are acclaimed: eg The White Ribbon, Amour (Love)

His movies are energy sapping/ tiring to watch

I didnt make it through the first hour of the White Ribbon or Amour

^ That's an unpopular opinion!

Anyway, another unpopular opinion->

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy (the whole Swedish version) was a poor book adaptation

Killing Bono was a lousy adaptation from a Neil Mccormick's book

I can't stand any of the Bond themes I have heard, they are the same thing over and over again and don't really tell you much at all about the movie.

Also I have never seen a full bond film, because while I like the IDEA of bond, secret agent, etc. the cheese in some of the older ones has made me not want to give any of the newer ones a chance.

Even though its a well-made film, British film 'An Education' is conservative rubbish!

There is a risk to casting TV actors in films, its possible the fact we see them more often than movie stars (ie a weekly serial) we know its them that its hard for them to be someone else

Eg Aiden Gillen (Game of Thrones) on The Dark Knight Rises
William Fichtner (Prison Break) on The Dark Knight
James Gandolfini on Zero Dark Thirty, Killing them Softly
Josh Radnor on Liberal Arts
Zach Braff on Garden State

EDIT

Bad movies, Movies badly done, Movies overdone: exist so we know what makes a good movie!

When an actor/actress I don't like is in a movie, I don't watch it, or it takes a long time before I do.
