The only recent Star Wars movie that I really liked was Rogue One. I haven't seen Solo yet. I'm also not a huge fan of Star Wars.

I partially agree with this, although I only liked it. Didn't love. I also wish that Tim Miller (who directed the first Deadpool) directed the second movie. Unfortunately, he left because of creative differences with Ryan Reynolds.

the only SW movie I've seen post-George Lucas was Solo and it was a lot of fun

it's funny cause like up to a week or so before TFA came out I was still super hyped to see it but then I had a really horrible cold the week it came out and I just ended up never seeing it?

but also I was pissed off that they killed off Han

and I don't care for any of the new characters

I do love the OG trilogy and the prequels though

I guess that's another unpopular opinion that I like the prequels

For some reason the whole Star Wars genre and also Star Trek stuff doesn't really appeal to me!

I never got SW's extensive appeal either, but as it's part of the sci-fi genre, I enjoyed some movies as such, only not as something exceptionally precious

Agreed. I'll also watch the movies if I like the actors involved.
