Agreed, I still listen to the soundtracks because they're not main stream.

I'm glad that they didn't choose predictable/cheesy bands from that time period. They chose people who were able to write songs that had meaningful lyrics to summarize Bella/Edward

Plus, both Rob and Kristen offered up suggsestions from bands they liked, so I think that helped too. They're not, and were not huge shippers of mainstream artists, and it was Kristen who suggested the song Flightless Bird, American Mouth by Iron & Wine for the Wedding Song.

Plus, Rob sang two of the songs on the soundtrack for the first movie. That was a very big deal for him, as I remember he had told Catherine Hardwicke that his music was very personal to him.

I was always an E/B fan, and think Edward is greatly underrated by fans. He was so protective and strong. People mistook that for controlling.

I remember hearing about the books online, but not understanding what the heck everyone was so excited about.

Then the movies came out, and suddenly people started getting really brutal on them I don't think anyone was truly pleased, whether you were a fan or a hater.

Well depending on the state in America or u.k it would of been 08. me too I’m still friends with one person I read the books but wasn’t really hyped until the movies.
