As a teen, I had a poster of the film on my wall. It looked like this -

^^ I got that as a free poster when I bought the double VHS tape set at Wal-Mart! :lol:

I had Titanic on VHS too. Now I have a DVD that split the film onto two discs (it literally cuts off where the Captain says "I believe you may get your headlines, Mr Ismay")

I have a collector's edition I got from Costco that ends right there too before disc 2! :)

my Titanic blu-ray Director's Cut SE has the entire film on one disc, 45 minutes of deleted scenes and other extras on a second disc, and a making-of documentary and real Titanic documentary on a third disc. great buy! :nod:

Yeah I have a 4 disc set the first two are the film and the other 2 are extras. :nod:

Me too :nod: There's a lot to be said for this film and how it encapsulates the early 20th century social class system.

It doesn't feel like a modern film at all, which is what matters.

The documentary is a huge insight into Cameron's eye for detail. :)

The only thing modern about the film is the special effects! :nod:

Look closely & you can see bodies slide back down the deck and fall into the water :cry:

The realism of that scene was so important to Cameron, because there were still survivors alive at that time, so they would see that. :nod:

it would be so ****ing terrifying. though i kinda would have liked to seen it like if someone magically filmed it when it happened. (like real life). would be interesting.
