that's true, Cameron keeps pushing back the release dates for his Avatar sequels...however it seems things are FINALLY on track for his Avatar franchise, the screenplays for all 4 sequels is already completed and pre-production for the first sequel has finished, the lead actors Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana have both confirmed earlier this year that principle filming for the sequels will start sometime this month, so they should have already started filming the first sequel by now.
According to Cameron's most recent confirmations of the release dates for the sequels, Avatar 2 will be released in 2020, then Avatar 3 in 2021, 2024 for Avatar 4 and finally Avatar 5 in 2025.


Anyway going back to the Terminator movies, I actually would love a reboot of the franchise if Cameron can direct it again, because I love the first 2 Terminator movies, I think the first 2 movies created and directed by Cameron are by far the best movies in the franchise. All the other subsequent sequels that came out afterwards (without Cameron at the helm) are really mediocre in comparison.
