When he returns to reopen his barber shop, Sweeney Todd becomes the Demon Barber of Fleet Street who "shaved the heads of gentlemen who never thereafter were heard from again." Joining Depp is Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett, Sweeney's amorous accomplice, who creates diabolical meat pies. The cast also includes Alan Rickman, who portrays the evil Judge Turpin, who sends Sweeney to prison and Timothy Spall as the Judge's wicked associate Beadle Bamford and Sacha Baron Cohen is a rival barber, the flamboyant Signor Adolfo Pirelli.

Woo hoo!!

Thanks for this! It's weird to see the Sweeney Todd character with hair now.

SO EXCITED for this movie!

I've already got the icon all ready

I know ROCKSTAR, I'm so use to Michael Cerveris as Sweeney Todd that I find it odd that he now has hair and doesn't have a leather coat...

Have to agree, but he does still pull off the creepy look.

I work in a theater and the trailer is on The Heartbreak Kid and a few others mangers and myself were going in all weekend just to watch the preview.

I saw the preview during The Heartbreak Kid, and to be honest while I was a bit confused by it, I was also incredibly intrigued!

WOW! The Trailer is AWESOME....

It is definately one of my must see film's now.

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton are Dynamic on screen. Johnny bring's life and likeability to Tim's, Dark humored and might I say, beautifully shot films. Together, they balance out the films, that they make together. When I first saw the trailer, I instantly thought of Captain Jack's voice and Edward Scissorhand's. The accent comes off very familiar and strongly mimic's Jack Sparrow, and the overall look, strongly resemble's Edward, but then I realized, this is Tim Burton, you could spot his film's a mile away and of course, being the director, I'm sure he is very pleased with the look and accent and since Johnny is the actor, he has to listen to Tim and I'm sure he possibly visioned, Sweeney Todd to sound that way and look that way, so I could careless about the accent. Johnny is such a great, versatile actor, so he could pull off anything. All of Tim's film's, with Johnny are amazing. Kinda like Scorsese and Dicaprio, they just fit so well together.

Also, I love it when Johnny plays twisted Character's, it bring's out his hotness factor, that much more. I love it in the trailer, when he actually goes into a Sweeney Todd number and begin's to sing. It's creepy, yet amazing. I Can't Wait...

^^^^^^ The Trailer Is Just Awesome!

What a thrill that's going to during the whole movie. I wanted Mrs. Lovett to be older but Helena is so good at this type of role that, seriously, I couldn't argue with the choice.

Helena, Johnny and Tim have such an amazing connection, that you cannot go wrong with them.

I head people commenting about Johnny's singing and I'm like WTF? Look at John Travolta, Zac Efron and alot of other people from Grease and Hairspray. They might not have the best voices and might not can sing, but it's your delievery and your acting, that can sell the film. I actually loved it when Johnny went from talking, to singing. I feel he is going to nail that scene, cause IMHO, it's the best part of the trailer. I loved It..
