Superfly (2018): Remake of the 1972 film of the same name.
If you remember the classic 70's Curtis Mayfield movie Superfly you will be surprised to know that Superfly will be remade this summer and I happened to hear about it when I was watching Family Guy. I hope the Superfly remake will be a good movie and if the Superfly remake is a success maybe some other classic movies will be remade too. Alex Tse will play the title role in the movie and the Superfly remake will open in theaters June 13th

Did you ever see the original Superfly Millie? I only knew about the original Superfly because I happen to have the theme song on one of my cds. I never heard of Alex Tse before so I think he will make a pretty good Superfly in this remake. I bet there will also be a new version of the Superfly theme song specially for this new Superfly remake. I think it will do really well on it's opening week and based on how well this Superfly remake does I wonder of any other Curtis Mayfield movies will be remade in the future
