Stephen King's IT | 1990 + 2017/19: "If we stick together, all of us. We'll win."
Did anyone see this movie? I'm kind of obsessed with it. All the kids are great and Bill did such a good job in the role. I thought it was fantastic and I loved all the humor and friendship moments and stuff in the movie. It wasn't that scary to me, minus a couple of scenes, but it was definitely very eery and there were some good jump scares! I figured this would be mostly for the new movie, but also the mini series and part 2 Last edited by Crystal Clear; 05-09-2021 at 04:22 PM |

I have read many Stephen King books but I never read IT
Saw the movie on Saturday it was so good scary at a few points , very character driven cast with these young teenagers . IT himself was off the charts scary The way he spoke moved. At the end as the credits roll , they tease "End of Chapter 1" __________________

I really liked this. The kid actors were all really good. I was 12 when the original mini series aired and I loved it. I own it on dvd now, it's super cheeseball, but still has it's creepy parts for such an old made for tv movie. The new one of course was far superior, I'll definitely buy the blu-ray when it comes out. Every kid was spot on. A few changes to the book, but nothing that bothered me. Looking forward to Part 2 and who they cast as the adults.

It was ok, a little too many jump scares for my taste. I think I still enjoy the miniseries better.

They saw those dollar signs. According to tracking this one was supposed to make 40-50 million opening weekend, which would have been awesome as it was only made for 35 million, it made 123 million instead pretty much shocking everyone. I imagine the sequel was a no brainer at that point.
Should be interesting when we hear who's cast as the adults. |
