I mean, it basically means that Dan contributed to Serena leaving town before the show started. He perpetuated all of these dangerous rumors about her, Blair etc

Hi Kristen

To be honest, I never liked the Derena relationship and wanted her with either Nate or Carter in the end. It always seemed to me like Serena could only be herself with them. Dan never really liked her unless she wasn't hanging around the Upper East Side. There was an imbalance there.

But the concept of Dan being Gossip Girl kind of ruins him for me

and I know that Penn Badgley didn't like it. Said it basically means he was a huge hypocrite who was no better than the people he had belittled all those years and said it also means Dan had a split personality

I do think the writers just chose him in the end because it was the most convenient way to tie it into the beginning, with Dan being a writer etc. But it also adds a level of creepiness to him.

I mean, his criticism of Chuck seems ridiculous now. Dan was clearly no better than him.

After the show ended, Badgley described Dan as being a "psychopath"

and even though it sounds comical, he has a point. Did the writers think that through at all? Making Dan Gossip Girl means he was practically stalking the gang all those years and causing them distress by revealing dangerous secrets about everyone.

I hope I get some time today to play more of Uncharted

Maybe the first game, because I loved the jungle setting.

Cool I don’t play games just mobile games sometimes but I mostly post here or watch tv in between work and going out.
