I re-watched The Amazing Spider-Man yesterday and have a newfound respect for what Andrew Garfield did with the role.
I still prefer Tobey overall, but Garfield had a cute vulnerability in scenes with Sally Field; plus, his chemistry with Emma Stone was on-point  __________________

I did like the first Amazing Spiderman (the second was a mess but I don't hate it as much as others. It did have that Batman and Robin feel to it) glad they had the Lizard as the villain (I just don't want any more Green Goblin at this point, which is why I'm glad in the MCU Spiderman so far they are doing villains that haven't been done yet like Vulture and Mysterio) AG was a good Spiderman and yeah, I forgot his chemistry with Gwen Stacy was so great. I remembered liking them together more than Peter and MJ in the SR films *gags*
