Watched this again last night. Love it so much. Miles and Shailene are really great and have such good chemistry.

Such a good movie and great cast. Miles and Shailene get most of the credit, and deservedly so, but really that whole cast is amazing. Hopefully as Miles and Shailene's careers begin to blow up, it draws more people to watching this movie.

I wasn't a fan of Sutter/Aimee together. In fact, I was happy when Shai said in an interview that in her mind, Aimee did not take Sutter back at the end. She said she at least hoped Aimee didn't take him back. I like what she said because it's exactly the way I felt. I liked the idea of Aimee telling him "Thanks but no thanks." and moving on.

It is nice for the movie to end that way. You can kind of imagine if Aimee took him back for yourself or not.. I personally don't think their relationship was a healthy one (and I doubt lots of people disagree with me on that) so I definitely hope Aimee didn't take him back. But who knows if that's what he came for? I mean, he could've been there to apologize, to just be friends or, sure, to get her back. But you just don't know.

i haven't read the book either, but a-god-damn-men that ya'll agree. i was like, wait!? not that i wasn't utterly moved by sutter's story. and miles was great in the film. i just feel like, he wasn't right or good for aimee. i just hope she didn't lose her innocence or light because of him, which shailene easily stole this for me.

i might have to read the book though. i'd prefer a much harsher and finite ending to then what was given. or maybe the ending is the way it is because shailene was so good at playing hopeful? sigh!
