i love the movie!

donnie wahlberg did an awesome job!!!

Cotton Candy 03-11-2004 01:36 PM

Yeah, he really did. I couldn't believe that was him! He had to lose a lot of weight for the role. I think that his scene was the scariest one in the whole film.

and the way he lost that weight was very unhealthy. he practically stopped eating cause he had to lose quite a lot in a short time.

he did the weight-losing a lot more healthy when he played duddits in the dreamcatcher.

I never knew that. Wow, that's not so good. Do you know how much weight he lost by any chance?

galela 03-11-2004 06:13 PM

here's a picture of him in the sixth sense

i couldn't find how much weight he lost. this is all i could find.

"I suffered. I literally stopped eating. I spent five weeks on liquids only. I got my body and my head into a place of not just losing weight, but losing everything that can spoil you in this business - the pampering of success is very seductive. I actually developed an eating disorder. It took me a year to get myself back into shape."

and here's another thing he said about it.

Wow, that's awful. Well, at least he gained something from the experience, like he said in the article. Thanks for the links and the info!

It really is! It's beautifully haunting and dramatic. I have the soundtrack and I still can't listen to it alone, .

No problem!

I love the black and white pictures. They really do justice to the movie.
