This is one of the best 80's movies ever. I love it! I watch it all the time. Molly Ringwald was such a good actress back then. And I hear that they are actually making a sequel to it.

She put on some weight, but other than that, she pretty much looks the same.
I'm not sure about the whole sequel thing. It just seems weird to do one after so long. |

Yeah me too! When I heard about it I was like nooo. Generally sequels to great, fun movies are so bad.

Hi there! For my first post on this forum, I thought it should be for this movie because it's one of my faves. I grin like a fool everytime I see this movie and Samantha comes out of the church and all the cars clear away and Jake is waiting for her.  So romantic and funny.I heard about the sequel too, but I thought that they were gonna do it as a tv movie on the USA network or something. But then again, that was a while ago that I heard that. ~Dani __________________

Thanks for all the welcomes y'all!
I love the ending of this movie too. I think that's one of the things that I love most about this movie. I mean, who hasn't wished that the guy, or girl, they are totally in love with but think are way out of their league would notice them and want them too? And this movie gives you that with such a perfect ending. I just melt into a puddle of goo when I think about it. ~Dani __________________
