Joaquin Phoenix was the main reason I watched the movie and then the excellent reviews...It was weird but so beautiful and romantic...

I didn't like Her that much. Joaquin Phoenix was ruined for me in Walk the Line as he was so great, I can't see him in any other roles

^^ And some still hate that he didn't win the Oscar for that role too.

He deserved it, that's for darn sure. Glad Reese won for playing June.

Joaquin Phoenix deserved an Oscar for Gladiator, imo. His performance was thrilling!

Philip Seymour Hoffman deserved the Oscar that year...

Joaquin Phoenix is definitely overdue for an Oscar. Same with Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio

I agree, but when it came to his role as Cash, I felt Hoffman had the better performance.

I was blown away by JP's performance in "Her." Throughout, I felt I'd stepped into a dream. It was fascinating.

I'm still struggling with my Edge of Tomorrow addiction.
