Me too. it's definitely good that Angie seems to be very interested in it herself. That wasn't the case with Wanted.. because.. well, how would that have worked out after how the movie ended. But I think Salt was very much set up for a sequel.. since the ending was kind of open ended.

Well each cut is practically a different ending, so definitely open

I really enjoyed the movie. I was surprised with the twist. It's great there's going to be a sequel.

yeah, we're still waiting for that sequel seven years later. sadly, if they ever make one, it may not have Angelina in it, she's too busy with her personal life. if she does do it, i sure hope she eats a couple of pizzas before filming. damn, she was skinny as a rail in Salt. geez. love her, but damn girl, eat some food! i thought she looked womanly awesome in the lara croft films. why does hollywood so press on actresses to lose weight?! i hate that s**t.

I loved Salt too, I hate that it will most likely not get a sequel. The setup for one was perfect

Salt remains high on my female action star movie list, love the film, but i am here to warn viewers and Salt fans not to watch the Director's Cut of Salt. it changes too much of the film, leaves out critical action sequences by Evelyn Salt, and changes both the narrative of revenge and the open ending. the Theatrical Version is the definitive canon version for me, and hopefully they'll make a sequel.

if you haven't seen the Director's Cut, don't even give it a second's thought. there's a good reason they cut those scenes from the film.

the awesome scene on the barge isn't even in the Director's Cut. 'nuff said!
