There's this scary flick starring Kristen Bell(Veronica Mars) and Christina Milian(R&B singer) called "Pulse" I believe about to be release in August or September 2006. The story goes where a student commits suicide after visiting a certain website and then Bell's character investigates why one of her friends commit suicide which leads her to discover this creepy web page and then she and her friends are in danger of deadly spirits.

I saw the trailers and it looks creepy/scary. Kind of reminds me of The Grudge. I remember the part where a guy sort of gets dragged into a portal by the wall.

This film is another American remake of the Japanese psycho-supernatural horror film, "Kario".

This movie has been in limbo ever since January when it was originally supposed to be released because the producers want a PG-13 rating yet the MPAA Ratings Board doesn't agree the film is cut that way... Which is a joke because the reason it is getting the R-rating is more because of the overall depressing mood and atmosphere than any real scenes of gore or other disturbing images.

I believe the film would actually do better as PG-13 since one of the complaints from test screenings is the film leaves nothing to the imagination in terms of explaning everything and shoves CGI effects down the viewers throat -- typical of Hollywood to assume the audience is stupid -- When the original was essentially an low-budget, art-house kind of film who used age old techniques like low lighting and shadows to promote a creepy mood to scare people and it was much more effective given the cultural differences and subject matter (suicide; isolation from the group) between Japanese and Western societies.

Umm...is this movie ever going to come out? I've been waiting atleast over a year...come on, they need to release this movie already...I'm dying to see this.

The movie will probably be PG-13 rated. I would rather see an R rating because they would be able to get away with more stuff. It's about time this movie came out. Has anyone been to the movie's website? It's pretty creepy.
