I this film! It's one of my alltime favourites. I first watched it with my family years ago and since then I've lost count of the number of times I've seen it. I used to watch it once a week at one point

The story combines so many different elements and has the most fantastic cast of characters I've ever seen. I still cry at the end when Wesley and Buttercup finally ride off together

Anyone read the book too?

yep, I've got the book right there. This is one time when I feel the book and movie are equally great. of course, the screenplay was written by the author of the book. It's just one of those movies you can watch over and over again and still love it. You can watch it in just about any mood. hmm. it's 4am. maybe I should go to bed.

This has got to be one of my favourite movies ever! And erm, I had the biggest crush on Cary Elwes. The icons are gorgeous. The end of this movie is perfect, when Wesley and Buttercup ride off together. And I always laugh during the wine-switching insident, I find it amusing.

See, that's just wrong. when I find a person who hasn't seen this movie I bring them home with me to watch it. By the end they're quoting it. it's just that good.

anyway, I made a banner for the thread;

Aw, great banner! I love it. I still maintain that Cary is extremely good looking in that movie.

seriously, I would advise saving the few bucks it would take to rent it and just invest that into buying it. once you watch it once, you'll want to watch it again.

Oh wow! This has to be one of the best films ever! I've seen it so many times!

Along with others like Willow and Labrynth it was one of those films you watched when you were wee all the time, and had memorised the whole thing before you were eight! Magic.
