Harry Potter #4 Goblet of Fire
Either I'm blind or there is no thread for this movie..well it's not on the Master thread and I went back 6 pages anyway
 The 4th Installment of the Harry Potter series. Director Mike Newell Harry's fourth summer and the following year at Hogwarts are marked by the Quidditch World Cup and the Triwizard Tournament, in which student representatives from three different wizarding schools compete in a series of increasingly challenging contests. However, Voldemort's Death Eaters are gaining strength and even creating the Dark Mark giving evidence that the Dark Lord is ready to rise again. In the unsuspecting lives of the young wizard and witches at Hogwarts the competitors are selected by the goblet of fire, which this year makes a very surprising announcement: Hogwarts will have two representatives in the tournament, including Harry Potter! Will Harry be able to rise to the challenge for the Tri Wizard Tournament while keeping up with school or will the challenges along with Voldemort's rebirth be too much for the young hero?  I know alot of people that are really excited! I'm from South FL. And I wish I could snag tickets to a premiere.  But I don't live in NY or California, or London.  I wish I lived in London. I wanna go there soo bad. How bout u? __________________

Oh my goodness, they are so big!

Yes, Harry Potter does have that influence.
I've read all the books and seen all the movies. I just LOVE hp.  __________________

I've never read any of the books, but I do own all of the films thus far.
I like the fact HP is a universal among its fans... As is Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and countless other works of fiction... And that is liked by so many fans across the globe (like beforementioned series). It is a testament to the power of storytelling, aka JK Rolling, and it re-affirms the belief that good storytelling really is a timeless art that can't just be "bought" like Hollywood and a lot of others think. |
