Esp. when he's knocking on the door right before she goes through the mirror.
In the play version Raoul was such a background character I forgot he even existed! |

That's what I heard. In the movie they just made him this huge romantic "swash buckling hero"...I wanted nothing more than to take a pair of buzz shears to him...the Phantom was so well groomed

Interesting T-shirt
Guess what! Today, one of my students wore a PotO T-shirt! I saw him from the corner of my eye headed towards his seat, and thought I saw a white mask, but thought, "Good Lord, my phantom obsession has made me go mad!" But then I saw that it indeed was the phantom's mask, and got all happy! He said that he saw the show in L.A. recently, and that it was "the most awesome thing ever." Sasha |

You thought you were seeing things. I know that feeling, only most of the time I am imagining it

Hi everyone!!! I've wanted to post on here for the longest time! I used to post on FF all the time, but something went wrong with my password and yeah.. long story. Now I have to start all over again, which stinks, but oh well! I've been following the Phantom threads though! :O) I can't wait to talk about it with all of you. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Phantom Of The Opera. I have yet to see the play. I'm working on it though. :O) Well, I hope all of you are having a good day and I guess we'll chat more later!

New here
I recently rented and saw this movie, and I loved it. I watched it at least 5 times. I still haven't returned it. Probably watch it tonight too. I think whats so great about the film is Gerad! He's so hot! Especially when he first appears onscreen, takes Christine's hand and they walk in the hallway. OMG, the way he stares So hot! I saw the play a few years ago. It was good, but I guess at time I don't think I appreciated it as much. Of course, if/when I see it again it will be a different story. And PoTO was our senior class theme (c/o 99). |
