I don't know if it was the chemistry between Ryan and Rachel or what, but the characters were more believable and more like a real relationship in the movie.

When chemistry works as well as it did on screen....you know it's not that good in the book. I've already deduced that having not read the book...yet.

They seemed more like a realistic couple in the movie too with real problems.
