I can relate to this. I used a lot of Kleenex watching this movie.

I used to not cry during movies at all when I was younger. I wasn't even able to. I think Titanic was the first movie that really made me cry. I was around 14 years old when it was in theater, and of course madly in love with Leonardo DiCaprio. The second time I saw it in theater, I cried during the beautiful opening credits (with the faux old photage and hauntingly heartbreaking vocals by Sissel Kyrkjebø) because I knew what would happen, haha!

The Green Mile was the first movie to really make me cry rivers. So much that I had to pause it because I couldn't see anything. Now it takes very little for me to start tearing up. As soon as someone cries on TV or in a movie, I get a little misty eyed. Must be old age, haha.

My Sister's Keeper made me cry, I'll admit.

I second The Green Mile. I only saw it once. Couldn't see it again, but I remember it like it was yesterday. All these are great films listed. Another one that made me cry was Million Dollar Baby.

I cried during Prisoners. There is a scene where one of mothers is lying on her bed absolutely broken over her missing daughter. I really hate crying in public, so I subtlety dabbed my eyes and hoped no one notice

There were 3 movies that made me cry in public, aka in cinema:

1° The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. I saw it with some school freinds i tried to hide my tears at all cost when Frodo says goodbye to his friends in the end. I really hate to say goodbye to people when we are good friends and we will never meet again..

2° Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince: when Dumbledore dies..

3° Hachiko: i love that freindship between the dog and his master. I can't describe this feeling but if you saw the movie and/or love animals you will understand this feeling i'm talking about.

Yup! I feel the same way about LOTR. In fact, I always avoid watching ROTK's ending when Frodo says goodbye. It's too sad for me knowing they'll never meet again, especially after such a journey.

It's one of the reason I never minded Titanic's "dream/heaven ending" with Jack and Rose back on the ship, young, happy, together.

Only a hand full of movies have made me cry. As of yesterday, however, Mockingjay is the only film to make me cry in public.

I cried so much while watching a French movie a few years ago in the cinema.

It is called "Les Petits Mouchoirs" by Guillaume Canet with some famous French actors like Jean Dujardin, Gilles Lellouche, Marion Cotillard, François Cluzet, Benoît Magimel ...
