I love this movie, the songs in it are amazing especially Come what may, the way the scenes change is awesome (Baz Lurmanne is an amazing director) the clothes everything is Spectacular.
I love the scene where Christian tell the Duke "Because she doesnt love you,... him"

I love that scene too!

I always call Nini a bitch when she tells the Duke.

I also like when she says to Christian, "Don't worry Shakespear, you'll get your ending.
Once the Duke get his end-in."

and then it leads into El Tango...

I have the movie memorized.

I agree this movie is the one that I judge other to. The dictoring(sp?), acting, looks, etc... I think Moulin Rouge is A++ work

I watched this movie nearly everyday when it came out on DVD--and my brother and I drove nearly 1 1/2 hours away when they re-released it in theatres because of the Oscar Nominations.

It's a fun movie that's amazing in every detail. I still say it should have won best picture (I believe it lost to A beautiful mind...I could be wrong)

A Beautiful Mind was a great movie though. As much as I love Moulin Rouge...ABM was a great film.

I wish they'd make more films like Moulin Rouge..musicals you know...Chicago sucked...

i absolutely love this movie. I'm planning on having come what may as my first dance when I get married....whenever that is. haha is that weird that i already have it picked out?

nope, it's not weird because I wanted it to be my wedding song, too, and I wanted to walk down the aisle to the instrumental version of "Your Song"
