Little Manhattan (2005) #1: Nothing's as big as your first love.

Hey guys! Welcome to the Little Manhattan Appreciation Thread!

Okay, so I recently got this on DVD, watched it, and just fell in love with it! It was one of the best depictions of first love I have ever seen on film. It's just so realistic, touching, and innocent. I love how the entire movie is told through Gabe's POV about his enduring first love experience with Rosemary. And I did love the love story of his parents that played a minor part in the background, yet added to the entire movie in a great way.

Has anyone else seen this?

I've been wanting to see this for a while but I have a thing about movies about kids. I rarely watch them. But this one looks good, I may give it a try soon!

^^^I truly recommend it! It was just such a lovely story! And as I mentioned, one of the most incredibly, realistic depictions of young/first love. I had wanted to see it when it came out in theaters, but Indies rarely come to where I live.

I never heard of it, but the way you described the storyline, it sounds cute. Who plays the characters?

John Hutcherson is Gabe, and Charlie Ray is Rosemary, the two leads. And Bradley Whitford and Cynthia Nixon play Gabe's parents. Willie Garson is the elevtor guy.

I just suck at names.

So, did you have any fave parts, or are you like me, the entire movie was your fave part?

Omg, I adore the eyebrow, I agree, that was adorable! I also loved his tour or Central Park for her, too romantic.
