I need to rewatch this movie. Even though it's sad, I love it. I find myself quoting a lot of the lines, too. Lately I'm quoting, "If I let everything that should worry me, worry me, I'd be dead from worry." It's a cruel line in the context of the movie, but so very true in RL.

i love this movie as well, even if it does make me cry

i never quote this movie out loud but i often think

"Change can be so constant, you don't even feel the difference until there is one.It can be so slow that you don't even notice that your life is better or worse, until it is. Or it can just blow you away, make you something different in an instant"

i dont know why, i just think its something that you never really think about until someone points it out...and George said it perfectly


the acting is just fantastic as well. Hayden was excellent!

This really was a beautiful movie about the human spirit. The love between the son and father just makes me happy and sad at the same time.

I love how their relationship builds along with the house. It's not subtle, it's not masterful but it worked for me.

This is one of the most amazing movies ever. I love music, especially the song during the montage of building the house.

Even though the ending is sad, I watched this movie and I felt great afterwards. It's such an uplifting message and I get all swept up while watching.

Do you have a favorite part? Other than that montage I just mentioned, I love when George character tells his son he was just trying to get him to love him and he says 'congratulations, it ******* worked', so powerful!

I have many, but that one you mentioned is one of them.

One scene I love is the one when Robin is with her husband and she's already fallen in love with George again. She's serving his food and she just looks at him and asks him, "Does it bother you that your children don't hug you?"

It was so sincere, that she was no longer able to stay in that cold relationship. It wasn't bad or abusive, it was just too formal, too meaningless.

Again, it wasn't subtle but it worked really well.

I also LOVE the scene when George and Sam are arguing and the city inspector is the middle of it making sure the bathroom specifications were fine. George and Sam are acting insane, yelling, George is tearing up stuff. Good scene.
