The Langoliers (1995) #1

Does anyone want to talk about the movie the langoliers? I saw it a long time ago and forget a lot of it. So, the plane flew through a time warp and in that time warp langoliers were eating people and the time? Does anyone know why the people who slept were safe and the others not? What happened to the others? Were they eaten? The warped time was deserted. I'm confused about that? Was that an alternate reality? Who lived there and why was it deserted? Thanks!

Wow, saw this movie long time ago. From what I remember, the time warp took them into the past. Like, the day before or something. The hting is, the langoliers eat the past, which is why time travel is impossible. so they had to leave before getting eatten.

That's so weird - I just randomly read the synopsis for this film at IMDb!

Sounds interesting - I'm thinking of checking it out...

Creepy, I just watched this on sci-fi the other day. Why is that Nick (I think that was his name) had to stay awake when they were flying back through the rift? I missed about ten minutes and that bit was confusing me.

They figured out that that was why they survived in the first place. They were the only ones on the plane asleep the first time around.

I remember this movie. How many years ago was it that it was on?

I liked this movie, and I read the book too. There's just something about the concept that I find really interesting.
