Dawn Of The Dead (1979) #1

Anyone intrested in seeing this movie that is coming out on March 19. I am a big horror movie buff especially zombie horror movies like 28 Days Later and Resident Evil. I was also liked the original one so I will be comparing the original to the remake. I will probably see it the day it is released.

I'm kind of interested in watching this after I saw the commercial. It looks pretty good but it really reminds me of 28 days later. Too bad I never had the chance to watch the original.

Totally.

I must admit I hated Resident Evil, the second one must be better..

But yeah, I'm looking forward to this new movie.

The first ten minutes of the movie (uncut and unedited) airs tonight during USA's viewing of Final Destination. Zap2it says t should be between 10:00 and 10:30. I'm psyched! Hopefully it will be scary.

I just watched the first 10 minutes and WOW! I have got to go see it. It showed just enough to wet my appetite and - yes, it's a bloodbath.

Was the original good? It wasn't all corny and stuff?

I have issues with zombie movies, ever since I was young (about 8 or so) and read a story about them in Haiti (it was a romantic novel, but they couldn't be stopped unless you fed them salt).

Then, years later, I saw the original, b/w Night of the Living Dead. Freaked.the.crap.out.of.me.

I doubt I'll see this one - just writing about it freaks me out.

I love zombie movies. I have seen the original Dawn of the dead and it was pretty good, but last night I saw a 10 min sneak preview of this movie on channel USA and . I was holding my pillow the whole time. It looked really good. I cant wait to see it this weekend.

How can anyone love zombie movies? That's just wrong!

Seriously - I watched that 10 minute preview because I'm an idiot (I mean, I KNEW it was going to freak me out!) - and of course, I got freaked out! Couldn't sleep all night. *shakes head at own stupidity*

Hee! It's okay - it's why these types of movies are so popular, after all. It's cathartic to go through that kind of scare.

My problem is that it lasts and lasts and lasts and lasts (you get the idea).

MissShannon- true

Shrr Shrr- Yeah I know what you mean. Im just really excited to see it. I have seen alot of zombies movies and four on them I actually like alot and they were the old classics like Night of the living Dead, Day of the dead, Dawn of the dead, and Return of the Living Dead. I didnt really like 28 days later nor the Resident Evil zombies much either. And whats that other movie called with the zombies on the island or whatever? I think House of dead? Well that movie blowed chunks. I just hope that the remake of the first Dawn of the dead isnt going to suck either.
