I suppose it's kinda cool that some endings don't have to be definitive for people. It's okay to be confused by things or speculate.

To me, it was pretty clear that Nolan was showing that the totem was about to stop spinning, and it proved that Leo's character was in fact reunited with his kids finally

^ The effects were really good, didn't look fake at all. Love the part where the cafe looks to be exploding

It is definitely one of the best movies to ever capture on screen the concept of being in a dream (within a dream etc)

I actually didn’t watch this movie all the way through for the first time until back at the end of February

it’s interesting to compare this movie to The Matrix though

What did you think of the final scene when you first saw it?

Did you believe that the totem stopped spinning off screen to show that Cobb is finally back in reality with his children, or did you think it was a tease to imply that it could keep spinning and he's stuck in limbo?

The second one would've been my preferred option. I like ambiguous endings.

I think it was said in a press conference that we were meant to recognize that the totem was on the verge of wobbling over, which meant that Cobb was actually back in reality.
