I love this movie!! His love for his daughter and her love for him was so endearing.
 And I adored his obsession with The Beatles. My favorite musician has always been John Lennon. I love that the movie had Beatles covers. My favorite was Rufus Wainwright singing Across the Universe.  Sasha  |

I can still remember seeing I Am Sam in theatres & how I, yes a straight man cried several times. That hasn't happened to me since Forrest Gump. I own the movie now & I've watched it almost a half dozen times & I still have a hard time holding back the tears. The entire cast was excellent.

I saw this movie last saturday night and cried my eyes out.
I loved Sean Penn. Actually, I loved Sean Penn before this movie, but it made me love him a lot more. Sam and Lucy Dawson moved me to tears. I adored when Lucy said "All I need is love" when they asked her if she knew she needed more than what her fasther could give her. As a huge Pearl Jam fan, I have to mention the soundtrack. I already loved Eddie Vedder's cover of "You've got to hide your love away". But now I love all other covers. Beatles' songs are great. __________________

This movie made me cry. I loved the cast. Sean, Dakota and Michelle and everyone else were all amazing.

I thought i visited this thread once. But oh well. This is a good movie. Sean Penn is a great actor! At first i thought i wasn't gonna like the movie... and then heard every1 else talking about how they liked and so forth and then i just had to watch it to see it for myself and i actually liked it.
