I like PSH or OP as Haymitch. I like the idea of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Haymitch too.

I have no clue who I'd cast for Finnick. I'll have to look around.

Yeah, Xavier was in Eclipse

but he was actually good as Riley.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan wouldn't too bad, but he looks a bit young to be Haymitch

If Hunter was in it then it would be the second time he would work with him.

I was watching Wizards of Waverly Place with Yara Shahidi. I'm not too sure anymore about her being Rue after seeing her on the show, but I guess I need to watch more of her work to judge her.

I agree, JDM isn't quite old enough and I feel like he's is a bit too good-looking to play Haymitch

Ahh, I love RDJ for Haymitch - I don't know why but he's the one I pictured while reading the books.

I like Kaya for Katniss, and Hunter for Peeta.

I agree. I think of Haymitch being rough looking because of the years of drunking.

Oooh, I looked up on him, and he looks really creepy! I can see him as Snow. He looks similar to John Malkovich which I also pictured as Snow sometimes.

John has this articulate, creepy voice that would fit Snow.

I agree, too. He's a bit too young and too good looking. Maybe Haymitch in his younger days.

John Malkovich is a good pick--and actually, I think Zeljko Ivanek has a similar voice. I mentioned on the Books board thread that Willem Dafoe also has that creepy vibe Snow inspires.

I feel like RDJ is too good-looking as well and imo, he's way too high profile for the role.

Willem Dafoe is a great pick. He's creepy, and he's a great actor.

I agree with you about RDJ. But maybe that would be a good thing for the franchise -- he being high profile and all.

I've never seen it. My tastes are a little more pedestrian. I was thinking of "Yes Man" and "The Limey".
