Probably. I've never seen the movie.

I wonder who they would cast as a young Snow?

I wouldn't mind Asa Butterfield to play young Snow. He's got such beautiful eyes!

i think i would prefer the 3rd person pov in this book, because we need some world-building backstory and history on the people behind the Games, how Snow came to power, and some history on the destruction of D13. lots of history prior to THG10.

i think 1st person pov only works if you have sympathetic characters like Haymitch in THG50, Finninck in THG65, Beetee in THG45, even Plutarch and the history/formation of his underground movement in the Capitol between THG65 and 75.

You made a great point about why 3rd pov would work, Dave especially being a prequel. It has to set the scene.

Not surprised about THG having done that well at the box office I remember the hype when every movie came out.

Ahh yes, I can see it!

Also, huge congratulations to Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney on their marriage (real life reference )
