Love Actually (2003) #2: I am Colin. God of Sex. I'm just on the wrong continent, that's all.

General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. I really enjoyed this movie. It was so cute. My favorite couples were Jamie and Aurelia. I thought it was adorable that they tried to learn how to speak each others language. I was sad and actually teared up at a scene when Karen recieves a gift from her husband Harry on christmas day and she thought it was that necklace she found in his coat pocket but it turns out to be a compact cd. She knew now that he was cheating on her with his office worker.

I thought that it was absolutely great. I loved the different story lines and how all the characters were connected in some way or another.

I thought it was a great movie and the music was perfect. On the dvd there is a deleted scene with Liam Nieson and his stepson which I felt like they should have left it. It was funny and let you know a little more about the family dynamic.
That said, there were a lot of characters and a couple of the guys looked alike and it took me a minute to adjust too. I was disappointed that there wasn't more of a resolution for Laura Linney's character. I mean, while everyone else had a happy ending she was kind of ignored entirely. I guess we are supposed to assume that nothing changed for her. |

i loved Jamie and Aurelia too, its was soo funny when she just jumped into the river/lake thing to get his paper's so cute!! and when they went to meet her family CaLiSa~amazing British cast, its kinda weird though, coz loads of them i'd already seen on tv and then i kept seeing the little kid in all these programmes. like the guy who went to America and met the 3 girls, im soo used to seeing him on My Family where he plays a really goofy funny character. __________________

Ah I loved this film! My favourite stories were probably Hugh Grant and Martine Mcutcheon (sp?) and Keira Nightly and Andrew Lincoln.
My favourite moment from the whole film... [on sheets of poster board] Mark: With any luck by next year Mark: I'll be going out with one of these girls. [pictures of beautiful supermodels] Mark: But for now, let me say Mark: Without hope or agenda Mark: Just because it's Christmas Mark: (And at Christmas you tell the truth) Mark: To me, you are perfect. Mark: And my wasted heart will love you Mark: Until you look like this [picture of mummy] Mark: Merry Christmas [He walks away, she runs after him and kisses him and then runs back inside.] Mark: That's enough. That's enough now. Awwww __________________
