High School & College Reunion Movies
Yesterday I watched Wasted on HBO. It opened with one of my favorite famous quotes - "Youth is wasted on the young". It was a very good movie. It was so honest and real I actually had a dream about my high school friends when I went to sleep. It's also one of those movies where you laugh, perhaps shed a tear, because you can relate so hard to these people; you realize that some experiences really are universal in a sense.
The awkwardness of meeting up with people you once knew but haven't seen in a LONG time, or with people you went to school with but never talked to. The instant "just like we never left" chemistry and playfulness of seeing your high school and college buddies again, picking up right where you left off. And that sense that no matter how old you get, whatever you become, whatever you do will always have something to do with that kid you were in high school. I'm a huge sucker for movies that deal with this. This particular movie really brought me back. Anyone ever had a similar experience? |

Hm, Beautiful Girls was a really nice reunion kind of movie. Not sure if it fixs into this subject or not.

These are the best movies to watch and I am waiting for upcoming movies to watch.
