These are some of my wife and my favorite movies to marathon through! I really wouldn't mind if they did more movies or even side stories/prequels.

I agree. I could never get tired of re-watching these, and it's like a Lord of the Rings marathon, you can't just pick one and watch, if you're going to watch, you watch them all, and you always start with the first!

when the funds allow, there are cheap options available! They have the sets where it's 2 movies in one box. I have those, they were 9.99 each. 40 bucks got me all 8 movies on blu!

Yeah there are few stores around here like that where I can get cheap, but bills, food and necessities come first.

Tons more! Each movie would need to be 3-4 hours longer EACH to incorporate all the book material.

yes.. and nobody wants to sit that long to watch a movie
thats what the books are for. its amazing how much detail and imagination she puts into these stories
