Gone With The Wind (1939) #1: Because some films should never be forgotten.
This is to all the people who have seen the amazing classic "Gone With the Wind."
To those who haven't seen it, trust me its worth it. Romance, drama, and humor.. The movie has it all! :] __________________

This is one of those classics I haven't seen, but I plan to when I have time.

Olivia de Havilland passes away at the age of 104.
She did an amazing job in the movie - love her other movies too! |

^ Very sad but wow, what a fulfilling life! 104 years
Her character deserved better than Ashley. It took her death to make him realize what he had. He was clearly hung up on Scarlett for the majority of the time. __________________

Rhett was the only one who had the guts to face reality and do something about it before it was too late. Admirable guy
I always wondered if Scarlett would have eventually got him back? __________________

That does seem to be the case , although fiction and life are both full of surprises and I suppose anyone is capable of change.
Rhett was a strong man with principles, but he did truly love Scarlett and I think he just needed to hear those three words from her sincerely. It does come too late in the movie, but fiction is a great thing that allows you to fill in gaps with your own mind. __________________

Watch this video clip of Scarlett being a self-centered, cold-hearted b i t c h to a man who clearly adored her, on her own wedding day.
Poor Charles, anyone in their right mind would cherish a guy who adores her this much but then Scarlett could never see past the Ashley cloud - Clip: Scarlett marries Charles Hamilton __________________
