Godzilla 2014
'm typically not into big budget blockbusters, but holy ***** am I excited about Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures' Godzilla, which is fast approaching. Directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters), the film is primed and ready to wash the bad taste of 1998's lackluster effort out of all of our mouths, and at long last give us the Godzilla flick that we deserve, and that we've been patiently waiting for.
A few months after the excitement began with a teaser trailer, and a mere 24 hours after we heard his roar, the full official trailer for Godzilla 2014 has arrived, and it's home to a whole lot of brand new footage that wasn't previously seen in the teaser. Though it still doesn't provide a full look at the titular beast, I can nevertheless promise you it's the most awesome thing you'll see all week. If you weren't yet head over heels excited about the movie, prepare for that to change. Check out the epic trailer below, and look for Godzilla in theaters on May 16th! Cast Credited cast IMDb Elizabeth Olsen ... Bryan Cranston ... Aaron Taylor-Johnson Sally Hawkins Juliette Binoche Ken Watanabe David Strathairn Victor Rasuk Al Sapienza __________________

Saw the movie enjoyed it I max theater is the best place to see it . large clear screen adds to special effects. Brian cranston helps get the movie started to set the tone for what is to come.
Arron Johnson and Ken Watanabe give us some reason to care about the humans Godzilla - Rotten Tomatoes Rotten tomatoes reviews from around the country __________________

^ Bryan Cranston and Ken Watanabe are the main reasons I want to see this remake - was not a fan of the previous one. Good to see some positive reviews - plan to see it Sunday.

I just saw the 10pm showing of Godzilla, going in with no expectations or knowledge except that the original was a Japanese film and that Godzilla stems from their folklore. I ENJOYED IT AND WAS THRILLED!!!
I learned one thing: Godzilla is a BAMF.
Spoiler:
Great movie, go check it out! __________________

I liked the movie but the first part really dragged out. This movie needed less humans and more Godzilla. Except for Ken Watanabe most of the other characters were really pointless especially the family. Still the movie is worthy for the few Godzilla scenes.

Yeah, Ken Watanabe's character didn't do much. He just followed people around and gawked at Godzilla. I wish he did more, but I guess his character is just as dignified since he was Godzilla's protector in a way.

I've owned this on Blu Ray for 2 months and still haven't had an opportunity to watch it yet. I need to make that a goal!
