Has anyone seen this movie? I watched last night and it was so heartwarming. I laughed out loud and got teary-eyed. Chris Evans was fabulous and little McKenna Grace was amazing. I highly recommend it!

Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising a child prodigy – his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) – in a coastal town in Florida. Octavia Spencer plays Roberta, Frank and Mary’s landlady and best friend. Jenny Slate is Mary’s teacher, Bonnie, a young woman whose concern for her student develops into a connection with her uncle as well.

yes i loved it. i agree both Chris and McKenna were both so wonderful in this movie. i highly recommend it as well

I watched this movie recently and really enjoyed it, it's a heartwarming story and there was really good on-screen chemistry between Chris Evans and the little girl who played his niece, their chemistry and the close relationship between their characters in the movie made them seem more like father & daughter, which was good

yeah they were so great together
i also liked Octavia Spencer in the movie. she was great as the next door neighbor who also helped look after her on occasion.

i saw it awhile back, thought it was pretty good, and i like that you never really know how smart the Chris Evans character is, his characters intelligence is left rather ambiguous in comparison to the child prodigy niece. the film kinda reminded me of another i really liked, Akeelah and the Bee.

Oh yeah! Octavia is wonderful in everything though. She's an amazing actor.

That's a good point. We aren't told about his dad's IQ (or mom's intelligence). Because we would expect either mom or dad to have really high IQ.
