I love this movie....though, it's been forever since I've seen it. I always get this and Steel Magnolias mixed up.

I don't know why I do...but they've always kinda run together to me.
Okay, refresh my memory about this one, it has been too long. Someone died...right? |

It is about these two women in the 1930s in the south. They become very close friends. (some might say that they were in love) They open up a cafe and all this other stuff. Idgie the main character gets charged for murder. Ruth does die, i think of cancer towards the end.
Plus there is this other half of the movie of this woman ninny who tells the story to Evelyn (played by Kathy Bates) Evelyn was lonely and having problems with her husband, and at the end of the movie, Ninny moves in with Evelyn and her husband. __________________

Okay, I remember the Kathy Bates character. And, okay, at least I was right about the dying. If I have time, I will pull this out soon, so I can discuss it more. I did remember really liking it though.

I love that movie! It's one of my all time favorite films. It's just so touching and feels very real.
