I LOVE Bergman. My top 3 is Persona/Wild Strawberries/The Seventh Seal.
I don't really know Fellini, I've only seen movies he wrote the screenplay for, but didn't directed (Rome, open city and Paisan).
I saw Persona and The Seventh Seal and I downloaded Wild Strawberries. Guh I love Bibi Andersson so much.

I've seen Farewell My Concubine some days ago. Gong Li is so fabulous.

I've seen her recently in Curse of The Golden Flower. She's very beautiful in it, as usual, but her acting was off. I liked the movie a lot, and it was visually gorgeous.

She's great in Raise the Red Lantern and Farewell My Concubine. Well at least I think so.

I saw Wild Strawberries 2 days ago. My favorite Bergman so far.

started to watch Broderskab. It's a Danish movie and it's kinda disturbing. It's about neo-nazis, homophobia, and a secret relationship. The actors are really good and the storytelling is great
I really like that one too I´m Danish myself and that was is one of the best Danish movies I have seen in several years..

He's my favorite director.
Can't wait for The Grand Master (even though I don't like Zhang Ziyi). I hope the movie is great, because My Blueberry Nights was such a letdown.

He's very talented. I think Hero is the movie with the most beautiful cinematography I've ever seen.

I saw Potiche. It was ok. The subtitles were strange, so I probably missed some funny lines.

i saw that too...........i'd also have to say that catherine deneuve has been in much better films.....what's interesting to note is that 'potiche' is set in an umbrella factory....much like an earlier film of her's that set in an umbrella shop...1964's 'the umbrellas of cherbourg'....which imo is a far superior film....

I noticed that too. And yes that movie was better, but my favorite Demy/Deneuve is Les Demoiselles de Rochefort.
