Here's a new one.

My last post in the other thread was Moneyball. I was confused by the making of this movie because Billy Beane's moneyball wasn't exactly a huge success. I want to know if the movie is about the concept and sabermetrics approach in a very The Social Network way because, while I liked The Social Network, I had problems with the presentation and focus. All in all, I'm just curious. And I love Brad Pitt and Sports movies.

The Flowers of War: A Chinese historical drama with Christian Bale. I think the movie is going to be visually gorgeous.
My Week With Marilyn: Don't like the subject of the movie, just want to see Michelle Williams' performance.

Sherlock Holmes-A Game of Shadows-i can't wait to see this one! the first one was so amazing and i love robert downey jr/jude law together!!

Hanna -- It's finally on DVD and I haven't seen it yet. I love Eric Bana and the movie looks pretty exciting. It will make for a fine movie night. I just need to drive 6 minutes to the nearest Redbox. Ah, laziness.

Top 20 films to see in 2012

Only interested in The Great Gabsy (I love carey Mulligan and I like the book), Django Unchained (not a big fan of Tarantino but his movies are always entertaining), The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (I like the LOTR trilogy a lot) and Sleeping Beauty (the trailer looks intriguing).

The three I am really excited for:

The Dark Knight Rises - Big fan of Batman. Have been since I was kid. Have absolutely loved two films Nolan has done. The Dark Knight is my favorite film of all time so far. Just curious to see if he will top it with his final film.

The Avengers - Loved just about all the marvel movies. Liked seeing Thor and Captain America this summer and love the Iron Man films. So its gonna be cool to see all of them in the same film. Just wish a Justice League movie will be made.

The Hobbit The Unexpected Journey - Aside from Star Wars & Nolan's Batman films, I loved LOTR films. It's gonna be fun to see Bilbo's story on the big screen and see old favorites like Gandalf and Gollum again.
