The twist in this movie has to be one of the most surprising twists in the history of movies. I mean how many people figured it out before the twist was revealed? If you go back and watch the movie, you can see Ed Norton aka the Narrator creating Tyler Durden in his mind while he is at the hospital. You see little glimpses or flashes of Tyler Durden on the screen. Fight Club has to be one of the first movies to trick the audience into thinking one of the main characters is real but actually not and really just inside another character's mind.

I certainly didn't. Like a critic said, once you know what's up, watching the movie from Marla's perspective is a trip.

This is such a cult classic of a film! :)

I have to agree  And yes, one of the best plot twists/surprises in cinema history, for sure. This and Se7en.

I'm actually surprised I haven't been spoiled for this. I saw it this year without ever knowing what the big twist was. Pretty amazing :D

Then there are the who hate it with a passion and that's just because they don't understand it!
