I saw the movie, and I felt it was romance, Christian just never realized it. He said he doesn't do romance, but his actions clearly state overwise.

The sex scenes weren't that graphic, I felt it was nicely done. The emotions on Christian/Jamie's face tells a whole story. His not wanting to fall for her. His developing feelings for her. His regret, sadness etc.

No worries. I'm thinking I might read bk 2 and 3 after all. The end of the movie got me damn curious. The music in the movie was perfectly placed as well.

I think Ana is the only person that got to him, to understand that what he shows other people isn't who he is. I think that's why he found himself interested in her. She was unlike anyone else he has ever met.

And forget the haters. There no abuse. Everything they did at least in the movie, was mutual and even the Punishment she asked to see.
