| Bored, were you?You know, we used to have a thread like this years ago, and my picks would be that it was jointly directed by John Woo and David Lynch, and that the two leads be played by Chow-Yun Fat and Kyle McLachlan - sort of in the buddy type cop thriller like The Killer. I'd have a budget of...I think a low budget would be better so that they'd have to rely on plot and chemistry between the two main characters (all subtext, like The Killer) to generate interest with the audience. Also - no doves or red curtains, but otherwise the sky's the limit and I'd want it to be in their typical form. Oh, and I'd want it to have a super soundtrack, so that's where most of the money would go (NOT a typical David Lynch soundtrack). What? A girl can dream, can't she? ![]() __________________ | |||

![]() As for my dream movies... I've written about ten of them ranging from romcom (romantic comedy) to action-adventure and they're being shopped around town (Hollywood) as we speak. That's what they mean when they say "Live the [your] dream" ![]() My latest one would probably be my "dream movie" though. I can't tell you the plot (for obvious reasons), but I will say I wrote it for two, current hot young actresses -- Whomever that may be; Natalie Portman and Kristen Bell; Ali Larter and Mandy Moore; Gabrielle Union and Milla Jovavich; etc. -- And it is a thriller set IN the world of Hollywood and the entretainment industry itself and does something to the genre that hasn't been done before (everyone says this; I know this is true because I researched it to be absolutely sure). What is great is it can be done on a $10 million dollars (considered low budget by mainstream standards) upwards of $60+ million depending on who(m) else is attached. That is the key and something ShrrShrr seems to already know and she's not even in this biz that I am aware of ![]()

Oh, okay, if he must! I admit that I liked it in the early films, but it did become a bit...self-referential.And nope - not in the biz, just a fan. So - you're story is reminding me of two of my favorites - The Player and Mulholland Drive. I hope it's as meaty as those are, with lots of intrigue, subplots and red herrings! *is excited and hopes you get it picked up* __________________
