I just got this dvd today from Netflix and loved it! This is one of my favorite movies ever. It made me want to die my hair. I want to rewatch it now. I don't usually like Jim Carrey but I thought he was really good in this movie. Kate Winslet is always good.

Haha, Kate Winslet did look amazing with her colorful hair. I've always wanted to dye my hair some crazy color and Clementine certainly made me want to do it even more. I never did it, though. Boo, me.

Oh, lucky you!

I went to buy this DVD two times and neither time they had 2 disc SE, which I know is not that big of an improvement over the single disc.......... But I'm odd and if I know there's a 2 disc ed out there, I just can't settle. Of course now I don't have money for either. Heh.

Not that anybody cared.

Is it just some or does no one ever talk about how good Jim Carrey was in this movie? And this movie isn't your typical Jim Carrey movie. I would label it as a psychological dramedy. It makes you think.

I agree Jim Carrey did not get enough credit for this movie. I saw this movie a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it, I liked the different hairstyles Kate had throughout the movie.

Jim got a lot of praise at first, but since somehow this was a smaller movie, people kind of forgot about his incredible performance. A shame.

this is my fave movie for many reasons
yeah it was so sad
and jim carrey was awesome in this movie, kate was absolutley amazing and I love the hairstyles they help you to understand the timeline of the movie , past and present

What are your favorite scenes?


I really love the scene where they're in the city and the elephants come. It just fits so perfectly with the voice over of the poem.
Crazy that this scene was actually not in the script. They were filming and realized the Elephants were being brought into Madison Square Garden and decided to shoot something with them.


I also love the scene where Joel is in the car (Almost at the end) and all the memories of Clementine begin to flash before him...right as the erasing is complete. Jim Carrey's face gets me every time. A mixture of sadness and acceptance.

I thought Jim was fantastic in this movie! And what a unique love story.

I really loved the last scene in the beach house as it was crumbling....

one my favorite scenes is at the end the one in which Clementine tells him that their relationship is doomed to fail and he says, "okay" like he doesn't care very much about the future because at that moment he just wants to be with her cause she makes him feel happy
