| Eragon I read the book and I absolutely loved it. So imagine my utter joy when my mate Chris sends me this! I can't believe it. I'm actually well excited! What does everyone else think of the film coming out? | |||

| I strongly suspect you're a promoter for the film disguised as a newbie, but just in case - welcome to the boards and thanks for the thread! (we're very friendly to newbies here)I've never heard of the book or film, but the title alone sounds like a poorly-spelled LOTR ripoff. Here's the IMDb page info. While the stills from the film look silly, it does have a fairly good cast so who knows? ...but then, Willow had a decent cast, too!  Of course, it's a family-oriented film, so a little cheese is necessary for the kids, so I shouldn't judge it too harshly.__________________ | |||

| i picked up the book today in paperback. Figured i should read it before i see the movie. And i like it so far. I thought about buying the 2nd 1 too but the store had it in hardcover and usually Harry Potter is the only fiction series i trust in hardcover __________________ No, we're too simple for that.
