i went to buy this on itunes, but apparently there is only the remixed version available? um? i don't even know what that means...

It has deleted scenes mixed in with the regular movie and certain different lines. Like the scene where Renee wants to have relations with Rex, they changed what he originally said to "hope you like the taste of blue cheese". Then there's a few added moments between Rory and Liv Tyler and a bunch with Lucas. It's pretty awesome!

i decided to rent it first to see how it was and i really liked it. it seemed more put together than the original.

I just watched Stephen King's A Good Marriage and it stars Anthony Lapaglia (who is Joe in Empire Records) and it's just weird seeing him in a COMPLETELY different role. Also, nice to see hiim still acting his heart out!
