The scenes with Vincent Price. They're so surreal and remind me of Eraserhead in its delivery.

I have to say I loved those scenes too, and I think people forget he was in the film because his role is so small, but he's Edward's creator!

Not only that, he died shortly after and it was, I do believe, his final film role. Very important to the career of one of the best...no...THE BEST horror actor of all time!

It was sad that Vincent died so recently after Scissorhands, and it makes me wish his role was larger in the film.

Agreed. He was one of those film presences where you took notice and paid attention. He's still so missed.

He did some great horror movies, that would be a great theme, Vincent Price horror theme watch. Some are on Netflix I believe in the classics section.

I don't have a Classics on Netflix...but he's in horror. House on Haunted Hill I just watched a little bit ago. Used to scare the crap out of me as a kid and still intense now
