I thought it was terrible the first time I watched it. Then, it came on HBO when I was drinking a little and I very much enjoyed it with a little alcohol. I like fun movies like that.

It happens that one can discover a string of them for some reason at one sitting. I blame those recommendation pop-ups after watching online.

I do too. I was surprised to see many BBC tv movie series on YouTube. I would watch them on there too.

What did you guys think of Becoming Jane? Did you like Anne Hathaway as Jane Austen?

Anne is always good. Once she learned how to act not stiff (like Princes Diaries) she became a lovely actress!

I really enjoyed Becoming Jane and Anne. I feel bad for the story of Austen. I wish she got that happy marriage but she came out a great romance novelist.

If anyone questions Anne as an actreess...I tell them to watch her performance of "I Dreamed A Dream". Those 4 minutes single handed EARNED her an Oscar and cemented her as great.

Anne wasn't as bad as everyone made her out to be in
Becoming Jane but she just wasn't as I imagined Jane. It was quite honestly - very Hollywood
