The Deep End Of The Ocean

Has anyone seen this movie? I think it's a pretty good movie.

It's about a little three year old boy that disappears and the family searches for him....

I love this movie. I love the entire cast. It's kinda creepy that Beth turned her back for one second and her kid was gone. I couldn't hate any of the characters, not even Sam's 'dad'(the husband of the woman who stole the kid).

It was kind of like a Lifetime movie(I'm a sucker for those!), but less cheesy.

Haven't heard of it but I think I would find the subject matter a bit too much to handle.

I was always afraid (even as a little girl) that if I had a child s/he would be kidnapped when I turned my head in a grocery store, or something - I can't imagine the horror of having to live your life not knowing what happened to you child, not even as bad as losing a child (because at least you'd know they were dead and you could work on getting closure).

I loved it. I saw it in the theater and found it incredibly appealing. Michelle Pheifer did a wonderful job, in fact, I think they all did. Come to think of it, it DOES sort of resemble a Lifetime movie.

Actually this was one of my fav movies 2 or 3 years ago, a really good movie, and a really good cast, at the end of the movie I found myself crying, I dont know why, but everytime I see it some tears come down my eyes Liked the plot a lot, and I think the actors make a great job there...

I watched it on video some years ago. I've always liked Michelle Pfeiffer. The movie was kinda bittersweet. The ending was good though. As for the book...too thick for me to read.

I this movie. Everytime it is on either Lifetime, HBO, or any other channel - I make a point to watch it. The whole cast just absolutely acted out their roles wonderfully. I think one of these days I may buy the DVD and read the book perhaps.

OMG! I love this movie! It's so sad it makes me cry every time I see it!

And yes, Jonathan Jackson was hot.

Did anyone read the book? I'd love to but I haven't yet.
